• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. I am done riding for awhile. Knee replacement starts at 9:15 am today, and being in Minnesota the weather will most likely be bad by the time I am allowed to ride again. Of course we are having great riding Weather right now :banghead:.

Come spring Watch Out :ohyea:

best of luck and fast healing. ive had both done and will have a hip
this winter. looks like this weekend will finish it down here too.
keep us posted.

Wishing you the best

Hi Les, best of luck with your knee surgery! Recover quickly my friend. Let me know if Teresa and I can help with anything.

Hoping for a quick recovery from surgery. I had my right knee replaced 3 years ago and it wasn't much fun till after you heal. Hope you get a better PT than I got. He also killed me sometimes, or at least I thought he was. LOL

Bummer....

All the best on the replacement surgery and heal well over the off months... You will be back soon enough ....:ohyea:

Good luck. Keys are good Dr, good therapist, follow instructions (yes it will hurt, be careful). It's amazing what they can do now. Good Luck, Mike

Good luck. I had both replaced about six years ago. Things are much better now. Just pay attention to your therapist and push the new knee hard. The more pain you suffer during the early part of healing the better the results are after healing. If they give you one of the machines that moves your leg, live in it. I was spending every minute that I wasn't asleep or walking around in mine and according to the therapist it made a big difference in my range of motion. Hang in there, it hurts badly at first, but after a few months, it's like having new and improved knees.

I had my second hip replacement on October 11th, and there was a gentleman in the joint replacement center with me who had a knee replacement the same day. I'll tell you, that afternoon he was buzzing up and down the hall on his walker like nobody's business. I mean you would not believe that he had had a knee replacement just hours before. He is having his other knee replaced on November 22nd. We both spent only one night in the hospital. It is truly amazing what they can do these days with the aid of robotics. Heal fast & get ready to ride..

I've had both knees and a hip done, like others have said DO THE PT, buy a cheap exercise bike at Goodwill and set the seat at the lowest you can stand and ride the crap out of it.

Prayers for Kathy too!

Prayers for a quick recovery from surgery, for peace at home, and a good rehab with full recovery.

Good luck, I had my right knee done 3/13/17, was back climbing roofs etc in 5 weeks, went perfect. Left knee is set for 11/3/17. Today's technology makes this type of surgery pretty smooth. The PT is the key, I was doing 5 sessions a day for first 3 weeks + walking and riding the bike. Enjoy the time off.

You won't regret the knee replacement, Had two of them done a year apart and got my Spyder just before second one. Gave up the big Harley and my Goldwing. Was making short rides on the RT in two months. Just faithfully do your PT.

Update.

Everything went well and I am waiting on breakfast. It will be nice to get solid food again. It's been 6 hours since my last pain meds and I still feel good.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes!!

Les
