• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have been trying to trace out a parasitic drain. I was convinced that it was a lil led light that is in the 12 access point, although that didnt make sense as they pull insanely low current.

I put a switch on the line that feeds it, as I wanted to be able to use it when the bike was not running. Well, another dead battery, this time all the way down to .02 volts.

This time low enough that it wouldnt energize the brains of either of my chargers. I used my bench top power supply as I could control the current. Fed absolute minimum in for safety, and it rose to 5 volts in less than 15 seconds.

Switched to the tender, and its all good.

I realized that i had been leaving my gps unit plugged in, charging the battery, for that entire time. meesa think that is my drain.

Like bugs bunny used to say, what a maroon.

Oh yeah, that would do it.
My wife has left our AC/DC power adapter plugged in a few times in our Jeep resulting in a dead battery.
