• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does your Iphone work on the RT?

I have 2 Iphones. One with ver. 3.0 and the other with 3.2. The 3.0 works for Ipod control and the 3.2 was working but now stopped. There was no update on the 3.2. Both will not work with airplane mode on and with airplane mode off, I get no FM signal when either one is plugged in. My :spyder: is at the dealer now. BRP told my dealer that it needs to operate in airplane mode. I've read that people on this forum have used there iphones for internet radio and calling. To me, BRP blowing me smoke with a broken mirror. I will be in touch with Carlo. Is anyone else have this problem?:dontknow:

Assuming you are talking about using the Iphone connection in the trunk thru the audio system.
You do NOT have to put the iphone into airplane mode on the RT. In fact doing that blocks some of the best things about using a iphone on the spyder. I have no FM reception issues with the Iphone plugged in.

I run Pandora while riding, and TomTom for turn by turn instructions, and this is thru the spyder's sound system. The only issue I've had is when the ignition is turned on, or I hit the FF/RW, it turns Pandora off and starts the Ipod.

I just recently got a blue tooth headset, haven't had a chance to receive a phone call while it was connected to the sound system, but I have no doubt it will work just fine.
