• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does this look right?

Getting ready for a 4000 mile trip in the next month and a half, fitting all four bikes with these lights, at $52.00 per set including a relay and harness i think it is a good deal.
I shamelesly stole some ideas from this great forum and went for it! The wife loves it!

Gotta ask where did you get them.... Link?
Got them from Amazon.com, let me see if i can figure out how to post the linkhttp://www.amazon.com/Auxbeam-waterproof-Off-road-Auxiliary-Driving/dp/B00FWD83RW?ie=UTF8&refRID=SQN4CQVAPTQR2NCDC26E&ref_=pd_rhf_yaod_p_img_2

I was kinda skeptical due to the cheap price but the reviews were good and they seem to be very well built and put out a bunch of light!, you can use them with or without relay they said, hope this helps you;)

How did you hook up the relay?

I put a set just like that on my spyder. Don't let the price scare you. They are the same as what some of the dealers are selling for $100 +. I bought a switch for them but never installed it. I wired mine in line with the fender lights. No problem with power. They come on with the key. The thing to watch for is where you point them. Make sure they are not pointing up. Has a tendency of irritating people. Another thing to watch for is that the are available in both spot and flood light. Your choice. I highly recommend getting the electrical connectors just like on the machine. No cutting of wires. Easy disconnect if needed. Enjoy your lights.:2thumbs:

The relay is built in with the harness, it is pretty straight forward, i will install another one tonite i think, if you want i can take pictures or i can walk you thru it over the phone when you are ready:)
Basically you have 2 wires for each light, a positive and a negative to the battery and a wire for the switch, that simple

unless you're in front of all those lights :roflblack::roflblack::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
You are correct, too much light to point straight forward, in my case i will point them outwards a little bit to use them as side sweepers, also will point them down so they can be at the same height as the low beams, that way when i use my high beams i will have imediate light in front of the bike and far away light with the high beams at the same time, hope it works, i just ordered 4 more for the other bikes.

That is a great way to do it but i am paranoid about piggybacking anything to the OEM wiring, everything i connect on my bikes weather is a cell charger , radio or lights is completly inrependent of the bike, that way if something goes wrong with what i installed it won't short out any wiring from the bike, people think i'm paranoid (and i'm starting to belive it):D

I have a pair like that on my '08 GS in exactly the same place. Hopefully makes me more visible. Got mine from Amazon as well.

I tried installing these same lights on my 08 GS SE5. I can't get them to work though. I tapped into the fender tip lights. They still work but the Auxbeam ones won't. I've tried them with a battery jump starter and they light, so I know the lights are good. I don't really want to wire straight to the battery, with a switch that I can forget to turn off. Anyone have any ideas why they don't want to work?
