• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does it really take 300 miles?

I'm getting a handsome income from just one big dividend stock - and I own several others.

Generally speaking even professional money managers will cost you money compared to putting it into a good index fund and leaving it there.

And even better is a good fund of companies with proven dividend track records.
There are several available with slightly different selection criteria.....but there is some overlap.

No matter HOW stable the company seems to be and how GOOD the present dividends are........professional money experts pretty much all agree that keeping large chunks of your investment money in only a few companies is a BAD idea. S*** happens. Large losses can occur.

Rode for about 5 years on 2 wheels before the Spyder was even a thing. My cousin signed us up for a demo ride when they first came through. Those original demo rides lasted over a half hour. First 15 minutes was getting used to the differences of the Spyder and getting over grabbing for brakes and clutches that weren't there. Last half of the demo ride was all about enjoying the bike to the point of feigning difficulty so we could slow down from the pack and have to "catch up". 112mph woohoo!

Had so much fun on the 1st demo that I signed up for one in the next town on the map. That ride was all about enjoying the ease of riding and not focusing so much on all the stuff around here that bites on 2 wheels (tar snakes, sand, uneven roads, etc). By the end of the 2nd ride I knew the Spyder was for me. Not sure how many actual miles I tallied up on those 2 rides, but figure about an hour and a half of seat time, plus the obstacle course they run you through first to make sure you're safe to be on the street. That was enough to make me comfortable and confident for normal riding.

Picked up my first Spyder in 2010, an RSS. Enjoyed riding the heck out of it, but always found myself a little uneasy on fast corners, especially decreasing radius. Always felt like my body position was wrong.

Moved to an F3S in Nov of 2017. Took 50 miles with the new peg position to finally make corners fast and fun and completely comfortable.
