Does anyone have the ultimate driver backrest

I don't have an ultimate seat. It says it has hardware for installation.

Are you sure it's the Ultimate Seat and not the Utopia backrest?

If it's the Utopia, it's a very easy install.

I stand corrected. I had no idea ultimate made a backrest for a seat they didn't make.

Put one on last week---had it installed in about 20 minutes. 3 point mount under passenger seat---2 position height adjustment on pad.

Looks very clean and functional! Also, well made. Choice of stitch color.

You said it mounted under passenger seat, on the seat or below the passenger seat. (Meaning not connected to passenger seat.)

I'm going to assume you already have an Ultimate seat.
The backrest hardware is already in the seat.
When you order you backrest just confirm it's for either a midrider or tallboy seat.
Lift the flap on the seat and slide the backrest post into the hole and your done.

Actually no I have the stock seat. http://ultimateseats.ca/can-am-spyder-accessories/can-am-spyder-f3-driver backrest they make a backrest for the stock seat.

Great product from Des; was going to get a different high quality model, but didn't want to lose the passenger seat space to strap a bag. Bought it at Spyderfest last month. Install took maybe 15 minutes tops; everything included. Remove passenger seat, two bolts on driver's seat, mounting bracket attaches with replacement bolts in three stock holes. EasyPeazy. Like the backrest; two heights quick click adjust, and screw adjust on the fly for forward/back. Waiting (impatiently ) for the passenger backrest prototype to become available for purchase.

I guess you can tell I recommend it.

Yes I know they are good, I had the complete seat on my 12 RT. Just putting Backrest on this one. Bought BRP backrest for wife.
