when i had mt 13 rt i had a vented windshield that had adjustable vents on it, now the 14 ltd says it comes with a vented windshield but i can't get a good look at it, does anyone have a close up of their bike with the vented shield

The ones that come with it are vented, but not adjustable. I just had the adjustable vent one put on today.

Stock shield on the 14 RT has 2 holes in it at the bottom. So, I guess you can say it's vented. :thumbup: Tom :trike:

i liked the one i had on my 13 rt, do you think they are the same bolting on as the new 14, and thanks for the picture

the guy taking the bike saw it already and wants it, believe it or not i also had a cup holder on the bike and he got upset i was going to take that off, so i will order a new shield and cup holder in time. right now i ordered the baha rons sway bar and the larger break pedal and the comfort seat so when the bike comes in and is apart they can install them for me

not the vented ones bob, the one from the 13 had moveable vents on it

They still make the adjustable vent ones in two heights 23" and 25", they just don't put them on the bike standard. You need to pay extra for them. If they used to, then it's now something they've taken away (like the frunk release). Is it possible it's something your dealer added before you saw it?

Sorry, a little late in answering the skies were clear and the road was wide open!
The vented shield will fit on all RT model years

Would you say that the vent in the vented windshield actually directs air to you or do you think it is more of an item that controls buffeting or rocking forward and backward due to pressure equalization behind the windshield?

Not sure about the BRP one, but the F4 one I installed on mine does both. A nice cool flow to the face area when I open the vent.
