There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

AM radio mystery solved
Went to my spyder dealer today and asked the salesman if there was am radio on a RT limited ..He said yes and i asked to see it and he turned on the spyder and he couldnt find it...The owner overheard us talking and he said theres NO am and that AM was being phased out by approx 2021 and going digital or the stations were going to convert to FM...Googled it and hes right

I couldn't find any definitive articles about the end of AM, even on the FCC website, but it looks like it is happening. Tesla and BMW dropped AM in a couple of models 2 years ago because of static interference from the electronics. Sound familiar?? FM may even lose out in a few years. Get ready to once again start paying for something that has been free for decades as broadcasters switch to digital satellite transmissions.
I just pickup my 2018 RT Limited 4 days ago. When I selected Audio for the first time, AM and FM showed in the display as options. I selected FM and tried to preset a station, failed, went back to Audio and the AM option was GONE, have not seen it since.
What really bothers me is that the Audio Control section is missing in the 2018 Operators Guide (I see online that the Audio Control section is in the 2015 Operator's Guide, but doesn't really apply to the 2018).

For us...the radio is a useless joke. Try driving in the mountains. Radio signals are a joke. We always play the radio going up and down Eklutna Rd. That's about it. :roflblack:
