I have enjoyed my SPYDER since I got it but there have been some things about it
that I just could not put up with any longer, here is one of them... I ordered and
installed the ISCI foot brake extension yesterday it took less than 1 hour and then
went for a 50 mile ride to check it out... the thing is FANTASTIC :clap:super high
quality I give it the Daves big :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:..Step #1.jpgStep #2.jpgNo Pedal now.jpgClean up  & Paint.jpgcomplete .jpg

Thanks

Thanks .... and it was easy... it's all made from stainless steel the foot pad part is
billet aluminium.
With the right cut off tool it's a snap however I guess you could use a hack saw
and a grinder.

Damn that looks sweet. Tom :trike:

Magdave,

I think what Dave installed from ISCI was a combination pedal/lever, which moved the pedal 3 1/2" forward. Of course I could be wrong. I was looking at just the larger brake pedal that ISCI offers, which I believe is just a bolt on. I have the tricled brake pedal right now and like the looks of the ISCI (pedal only) better.

Looking closer I see what you mean and I agree it is pretty cool the pedal location is a little too far toward the rear I agree.

You are correct, the brake unit I installed does move it forward almost 4 inches
If you notice I have Rivco floor boards the stock brake pedal was almost in the center
and made braking hard because of where the pedal was, so by doing the brake mod shown
it made it far better and safer it puts the pedal in a more natural position.
By the way... mine is a 2008 GS SE5 I got used 1 year ago this month

Thats what I wanted to do on my GS because you really don,t get great leverage on the stock lever!!
Did it help to apply more upright pressure to stop quicker??
I just put the slightly bigger pedal which I ended up taking back of because I had to leave my foot out farther to the side.

Is it worth it- I,m always afraid (A little) I won,t be able to stop quick enough for bambi with the GS while the RT has a more upright application for faster stops. IMHO

Well let me put it this way.......

This brake modification should have been the very first thing
I should have done.
The quality of the product is first class... I may start stocking them
for sale here at our shop in California and on line.

Does anyone know if this ISCI brake pedal extension will work with the OEM floorboards on my RT-S SE? Would really like to move the pedal forward and this looks like the right item but the stock pedal in the pics looks different than mine. Hard to tell.
