• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife traded in her '10 RT after nine months of ownership with 16,000 miles on it to get her '12 RT Limited. It had nothing major done to it but was in need of a rear tire.

I am guessing the spreadsheet covers some who have multiple vehicles.

I have the following information for vehicles owned.

2008 GS: 23,500 miles and traded off. No problems

2009 RS: 25,000 miles and still going.

2010 RT-S: Just turned 26,000 miles--no problems.

2011 RT A & C: just purchased: 2000 miles--no problems.

I think the Doc has one of the highest mileage. I believe he got the first 100,000 mile pin.

My wife Frenchie has 54,000 miles on her 2008 GS had some problems, but not willing to change. I had 29,000 miles on my 2008 GS before I busted it last year at Maggie Valley. I now have a 2011 RS-S with 15,500 miles and no problems.

I think the term 'Major Repairs' is in the eye of the beholder........ to me 'major' would be engine or tranny rebuild.... something.. well... major.

I had 56,000 miles on my GS before the accident.

Had DPS replaced twice. Once before the final new version came out.. and then again when the new DPS gen 2 came out.

Replaced front sprocket twice due to worn splines.

Replaced oil pressure sensor.

Rear bearings, tires, relays, etc....

I don't consider ANY of the above to be 'major' repairs..... so I'm saying 56,000 without any major repairs.....

Got my rt limited last May end of the month, rode it only for 4 months last year and rode it so far this year from May until today and have 24500km. the bike spent 2 months in the shop last summer because of a bunch of electrical issues. This year had the purge valve replaced, plug wire replace and now this week had to get another battery, this is the 3rd one in 14 months and yes it was on a battery tender over the winter. Knock on wood its running great:yes::yes:
