Do new design Air Wing mounts stop housing coming loose?

I have been reading about Baker Built Air Wings and have sent an email asking some questions but I was hoping that some folks here might have more information for me. I have a 2019 and 2018 F3 Limited. I have heard that the new design of the mounting of the Air Wings has a bolt that helps stop the mirror housing from getting loose? I cannot find any info doing searches here or on the internet about how they install and if they do prevent the mirror housings from coming loose.
I appreciate any info that could be provided.

Sometimes you're better off picking up the phone and calling the vendor. Most Spyder vendors answer their phone (during normal business hours).

 

[IGETAROUND]

The air wings mount via holes that you drill from a template on the bottom of the mirror housing. There is a screw and cover cap that goes in the top of the mirror housing which prevents if from becoming dislodged. Hope this helps
