• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do I need a second Spyder?

Aww crap. I think I do.
So we get home from church:pray: and then lunch. We had been in my BMW. As I sit down to watch the 49ers Tee (my wife) says, "I think I'll go for a ride."
I said "Well I can record the game."
Then came "That's OK I'll just go and you can watch your game."

But, but that's my Spyder, I thought. I even named it. Mr. Spyddy McTadpole.

Then she was off down the street.
Turns out Tee is riding it almost as much as I am.

That's OK though, at least she said she'd bring back Jr. Mints for me.

Go 9ers.

I am not sure weather to say your screwed, or WoW now you have a additional Spyder rider in the family
I would play it safe and go for the second choice and pick up a nice used Spyder to see if this interest lasts..
if it does head to the dealer and buy a matched set.
Ride On my friend....
and her too

Short answer, yes you do.

It really is more fun if you each have your own. If spouse really likes the current one, make it hers and you decide on the replacement machine for you.

Before our son came along 26 years ago, we would ride the dunes at Pismo Beach. Back then we each had our own quads. That was fun.

Sofia and I did it backwards, she always wanted a trike and when she found the :ani29: she wanted it so I bought her 2011 RT-s, and after I rode it some I got then bug and bought my 2011 RS. now she has traded the 2011 for a 2014 RTL and I hope to also. We have sold Both cars now and have only the :ani29:'s, be careful as there is no cure for this bug!

Hmm...no, you don't NEED one but I believe you should get one either way~ ;) I imagine a second spyder doubling the fun to be had in your household.

Good luck on making the choice :3

My wife owned the first Spyder in our household, a 2010 RT.

After trying to catch up with her on the twisties one afternoon with my Honda GL 1800, I asked if I could ride her Spyder. Reluctantly she let me pilot it for a few miles. I bought a 2011 RTSM and then we bought a pair of 2012 RT Limiteds.

I have never ridden her 2012... nor has anyone else other than the tech at the dealership when he test drove it.

When we left her machine at the dealers, we rode home on mine BUT... I was the passenger, she drove and when we went to pick it up, I was once more in the B---- seat. These wives can get possessive!

Be careful of what you start...

Wow. Thanks for all the replies. It's good to know that there are multiple multiple Spyder families out there.

I've told Tee that if she wants her own :spyder: that she must:
1. Get a job to pay for it.
or
2. Let me get some more coaching for my second career. That of Voice Over Artist. www.craigrobinvo.com

See you in the funny papers.:read:
