• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. I have owned my 2012 RT-S with 6976 miles since 2013. I'm the original owner. The last two rides I noticed that during shifting my bike would hesitate before going into gear. It happen when I shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Once I have been on the bike for a while it stop do it Do these bikes have to warm up? Have anyone else experience this problem?

Please advise

Agree with Bob. When was the last time you check the oil? When the oil level gets a quart or more below the add line the shifting will be affected.

Thanks

I have a 2012 RT-S SE5. I took it to my local powersport company here in Columbia, SC and it was low on oil. We brought it back up to the correct oil level and it seems to be riding okay. The guy at Columbia Powersport said that sometime the shifter goes out as well. We will see.

:congrats: The "998 Bikes" do have a tendency to use it some oil. It's good to get into the habit of checking it on a regular basis.
