Ditigal gas gauge won't work

I replaced my gas gauge today with oil pressure gauge and volt gauge. No problem there. Started up ditigal gas and temp were on my readout, gas was showing bars, then it went blank on the gas no bars,the temp is showing bars just fine, I went and top tank off just in case it was low,it wasn't, started back up I had bars on gas ,less than a mile they went off no bars.
Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like an intermittent signal which means go back inside and check your connections again.

have the same problem - lamont can help - seems that you use the lighting cables or so - you need an extra + for all this gauges ..
i still have no "temperatur" -only changed one instrument (as you see here) - the system is too clever and thinks its a bug..

My temp gauge works great and the oil pressure gauge is working great
They light up blue really looks good
Now if I just had a gas gauge ray:

What wires are you using for the gauge lights and 12v reading?

I used the light wire from the old gauges (gas & temp) also used the ground from those,

I would disconnect them and see if the fuel gauge comes back. If so disconnect one gauge at a time to see if the gauge is causing the issue. My guess is it is.

The ditigal gas gauge has came back to life, maybe the computer had to reset itself, rode this morning and it seem to be ok, showed bars while riding and when I got back still had bars! :2thumbs: Sure was glad to see those little bars!
