• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Display stuck on first screen.

Mt bike's display has stuck on the first screen twice. The bike would start and run fine but I could not increase the radio's volumn, select preset radio stations, see the trip meters, open the preferences display, etc.

The first time this problem happened I checked all the fuses and relays in the fuse boxes under the seat and in the frunk. Although I found nothing wrong the problem went away.

The problem appeared again yesterday. I called the dealer who said to pull R1(Main) relay and the load sharing relay, wait for a minute or so, replug them in and this would reset the computer. This didn't work.

Then I found the source of the problem. The switch that moves the display to the right from screen to screen was stuck in the right position. Let me explain. The switch is usually in the off position(left as it looks as I sit upon the bike). I had pushed it to the right just before the problem appeared, and it got stuck there. Since the switch was stuck, it prevented the display from changing screens. As soon as I discovered this and pushed the switch back to is norman position, the problem went away and everything was back to normal.

If you have this problem on your bike I suggest making sure all the switches on the multifunction are in their proper positions. This could save you a lot of worry and perhaps money spend getting this problem diagnosed and fixed by a dealer.

Switch? You mean the buttons (mode, select, left/right, up/down)? One of the buttons was stuck?

The only true switch on the left grip is the low/high beams. The other "momentary" switches on the left grip are the turn signal, and windshield up down.

Yes, the right button was stuck to the right. This disabled the Mode button's ability to select different screens until I unstuck the right button and pushed it back to the left(its resting position).
