• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

One thing that I have heard very little about is the need to put a pin in the rotor to stop the wheel from turning when taking off and putting on the wheel nuts. What are you all using as a pin? Am I incorrect or is there another method?

Never have and have not heard this mentioned anywhere. Guess it would help line up the wheel and the lug bolts but never been much of a problem and that putting a pin in the rotor would be if you don't remember to remove it.....I will continue my way....:thumbup:
 
Use an Allen Wrench as stated in the manual on page 95 to put through the hole for wheel removal. Lots of good information on the owners manual.

Sir, I did watch the video, twice. It doesn’t show how to stop wheel and rotor from turning while tightening to torque spec.

At the 11:10 mark of the video.

On the inside side of the wheel there are two holes that line up with a notch in the hub. You have to insert a shat of some sort through the notch and the holes to keep everything from rotating while the nut is being torques on or off.
In the video, they used what looks like an allen wrench.
 
Hi poconoscooter ref rotor pin I cut a long drift round bar or a long Allen key which just fit n to and through the hole (in handbook ) the snug fit the better. Regards Nico 75
 
Thank you Nico! The video confused me as I saw the rotor moving with the pin in. I now understand how it works. I will take your advise and will probably use a drift or round bar.
 
Might be able to accomplish the same thing by torquing with the bike on the ground, it may still spin though cranking that thing down to 221 ft. lbs.
 
Hi Tommy bar which is a NICE fit in holes , just long enough to pass through I cut a Tommy bar to the size I wanted regards Nico 75
