• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dimmer Switch Noise

Newbie question, I recently installed a few mods as far as extra lights, and now when I use the dimmer switch either way there's a clicking noise in front where the headlights are. Is this normal? It's pretty loud, and I don't recall hearing it before. Had my RT three weeks. Thanks.

Normal

It's always been there. What your hearing is the low beam shutter going up and down. The Spyder uses the same bulb for high and low bean (North America). The shutter blocks some of the light in low beam.

If you really want to have some fun; put your high beams on before shutting the bike down at the end of a ride. It'll automatically move them down to low beam for you; and it sounds about like a box trap going off!

What they said. I don't like it though--you would think it would be a little more refined on a machine that costs this much.
