• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Different seat on 09 SE5

Okay, I'm anxious to hear from some of you about whether you've changed your seat.

I know some of ya'll have switched over to Corbin and I'm really leaning that way, but . . . .

My question is does anyone know anything or have a seat on their spyder from Ultimate Seats. I'm short, have raised the handlebars, but still feel like I'm having to lean in too much.

Ultimate Sheats makes a seat for shorter people, which in turn would get you closer to the handlebars.

I want a seat where I feel like I'm sitting "in" it, instead of sitting "on" it and that's where I am with the standard seat on my spyder.

Anxious to hear from all of ya'll. Going on a trip to Arkansas' Pig Trail in June and I want to be comfortable.

thanks

Just got an ultimate seat put on my bike. I am 5'0" and also have the bars pulled back. I sit "in" the seat not on it. The seat is very comfortable as well as is having a backrest. The structure of the seat is very well done. This is our 3rd ultimate seat on one of our bikes and love it! My mom has an ultimate seat on her Honda and has had no problem with it. I will be at Spyderfest if you want to check it out. I got the Low ride version which sits you closer to the controls.

Thanks for the input . . . I'll probably go that way since I'm short and I don't think Corbin has anything specifically for shorter riders.

I won't be at Spyderfest . . .:( maybe when there is one a little bit closer to home I'll make one. Would love to go and just meet up with other Spyder lovers!

thx

I live in Rendon and have the BRP comfort seat if you would like to see how it looks and sit on it. I also have the 3" riser block on the bars. Let me know.

Check out the Russell Day-Long seat, they'll make it to fit you, but you have to supply the seat pan. (Basically they modify your stock seat.) Any way, they can move you down and forward, or any other way you need to go. Quite a few of us have them, (me included) and I haven't heard a complaint from anyone.

Would love to come out and see your Spyder. I'm also looking into highway pegs, but not sure which ones and exactly where to place them

Let me know if early Friday or sometime this weekend is good for you!

Thanks for the info
