There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Differences between adjustable and non adjustable backrest

I also have a 2013 ST Ltd and have recently fitted the adjustable backrest, at a guess I would think it would slide back further than the position of the new fixed backrest. My wife is fairly petite and she has it about 1/2 way.
The is only going to be one way to find out and that is to find 2 spiders that have each of the backrests fitted to compare.
The new one is supposed to sit higher up the back and is wider.

Just a thought..!!
seeing that they went with a fixed back rest they placed it in the middle of the adjustable. This would give you couple inches forward and back. I have never seen the fixed one so can't say for sure. I know they fixed it so you can add a trunk. I just modified my adjustible one so I could carry luggage...

Can anyone that has access to both types please take the time to measure which one is the farthest back? Thank you in advance. I have the non-adjustable one and it is not far enough back. I would be happy to buy an adjustable model to gain an inch or two.
