• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did you read this book back in the day?

Complete Motorcycle Nomad.jpg I bought this book when it first came out on the recommendation of the old Road Rider (now Motorcycle Consumer News). It gave me a lot of ideas back in those early days of motorcycle traveling and was a fun read. I have no idea what happened to my original copy but I found this at a used book sale and bought it cheap. It is fun going back and remembering some of this stuff. Any body else read this back in the day?

I missed that one. I did read a couple books about various travels on HD's. The information was interesting.

Maybe, someone will come out with a similar book about :ani29::f_spider::spyder2:. There are a lot of people with plenty of experience and adventures.

Probably not enough people interested in our niche brand to make it go though. :bbq::bbq::bbq:

This book is not brand specific but rather deals with the logistics of traveling on two wheels and even on living life as a two wheeled nomad.

I own and have read the very classic resource, "Proficient Motorcycling" by David L Hough. If you want to know and understand the physics and technical aspects of motorcycling, this is the book you need to read. Very good.
