• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did you know.....

that on a 2014-15 RT/RTL, when you apply the brake hard, I mean really hard, the floorboard will collapse so you can apply even more braking....after you stop, you can flip it back up. This is what my tech told me and then showed me.

See page 14 of the Operator's Guide. I also saw somewhere instructions to keep the unlatching mechanism clean and smoothly operating.

Relax. .!!

glad you didn't find out the hard way.. you would have thought you broke the floorboard. :yikes: but now you know..nice feature not on all aftermarkets thought...

I guess we are never too old to learn new tricks. By the way say "Hi" to the wife from me when you see her between jobs, okay?:D

You mean you actually didn't know?

And is the reason why the larger brake pedal is not recommended as it interferes with the dropping mechanism.

No; it does not interfere with it at all... Joe and I have both tested ours: the breakaway feature still works just fine.

Thanks...I am glad because I wanted one but at one time Reggy was not selling it for Spyders with Oem floorboards because of possible problems. Old news now it appears.

Cheers

 You do??

This is not a plug for iMotors, I have no connection with them.
I am however glad I purchased my Spyder from them. Jason showed me the floorboard feature when he was going over the bike after purchase.
