• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did I miss the boat on the 02 modifier?

Just installed a new yoshimura pipe on my 2012 RSS. sounds great. :2thumbs: I used the original y pipe gasket but planning on replacing it. There is a lot of talk about the O2 modifier from evolution that richens up the mixture some to end the back firing. My :ani29: backfires only once in a while with the yoshi pipe but I really wish it didn't at all. It there another O2 modifier supplier since elvolution is not around anymore??? Any feed back would be most appreciated;)

The only other solution I've seen is the 2bros juice box. It's supposed to work with the stock o2 sensor but I don't have any firsthand experience with it.

There are a few people on an Australian forum....Ozspyderryders.com...or something close to that, that have them listed for sale as used. Send me your email address and I'll forward you the link.

fuel modifier

From what I am reading most like the PCV with auto tune. Does this require drilling and welding of the exhaust system? If so this is more than I want to modify. Does the PCV require the auto tune to get results or does it just require a good fuel map? Too many unanswered questions. I just want my :f_spider: to run like it did with the stock pipe. (no more backfires and popping)

The PCV w/Auto tune does require an additional bung on the exhaust pipe.
The PCV does not require the auto tune, but you will need a map. The auto tune automatically creates map info.

I just installed the PCV w/auto tune a month or so ago. Wish I had it 2 years ago. It is imprssive.

Ok, stupid question time...

As I understand it, you connect the autotune and it logs data from your bike about what the "perfect" map would be for your riding conditions would be. After a while you then manually download the map from the Autotune then manually upload it to the PCV. After you have dozens of hours of data recorded in the autotune, the map is not getting much "better", right? Could you simply pop the autotune off and rent it to another list member? Of course they would have to get the bung installed too but it seems like it is a one trick pony that you don't need continuously hooked up.

Maybe a way for Lamonster to make some more money on the site... rent out the site autotune. Your card gets charged for the full price and then refunded minus a small fee when you send it back.

Just wild Friday afternoon rambling... maybe a stupid idea.

modifier

ok since i don't want to drill and weld my only other option is the two brothers juice box pro. Any feedback on that system ??????
