• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did a stupid move today

Did a stupid move today. Let my wife move the Spyder up our long driveway. I was walking next to her. Then she backed it up and put it into storage because we are expecting up to 40 inches of snow by Thursday morning. She now wants to learn how to drive it. I'm doomed.

There’s good news and then there’s bad news....Good news,....once she learns how (and she will) you’ll gain a riding buddy. Bad news.....there goes your savings account, she wants a NEW SPYDER.....the best one, not the hand-me-down!

She rode dirt bikes on the farm years ago. She has a current license, by the end of summer I may have two Bikes. Mines a 2021 RTL with now only 125 miles on it.

Yuppers new spyders in your future, trailer, comms headsets too:bbq:

Yeah, that was a COSTLY mistake.

On the bright side, you’ll have quicker acceleration and nimble handling without her as a passenger !!

DOOMED, what are you talking about? I've been a lot of years trying to get my wife to go for her permit, and I would go get her a Ryker in a heart beat!! She drives her own sled, and very well I may say, but nope, she wants to sit in the rear and smell the roses!!:yikes:

Oh yeah, I know how that will go. I bought us a Spyder so we could have some fun in the wind. Once the wife got on it and rode it around we had a second one within a week.

I got Linda to drive my Spyder in 2011. Four Spyders and 50,000 miles later, and she is still driving with me.

You blew it man. No more getting away from the o'l lady for you.:roflblack::joke: Yea just joking with you. Now you have a forever riding companion. There are a lot of guys out there that would give their eyeteeth to have what you are gonna have.

This year is going to be different. Last year only got her out a few times. She or myself didn't feel secure on my Indian Roadmaster due to some neck issues. She is already planning several summer trips. I drive school bus, so my summers are off, she retires on the last day of school, so more time is available. She does enjoy riding, just not so much lately.

Well weather she's on back or chasing you from behind, you have a special thing here, enjoy every single moment, and give her a big hug!!!
