• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Diamonds R A lie

Cavman - could you kindly put 'wimp link' in the heading/title for all these posts?

It will save me and I'd guess others from viewing your post only to find it's only a link, which I won't visit/click on.

There is a very reputable and Spyder friendly dealer named Diamond R and I believe your post defames them

Just for curiosity, I tried to look for "Diamond R" and found nothing. Is there a dealer with that name? Perhaps the OP should have replaced his abbreviated "R" with "are".....? Otherwise, I think the information is probably correct. I know that market has been manipulated forever. My ex-wife's, who all kept the diamonds, can attest to their value. I can attest to their cost...

I did a search and found three....Diamond R's...one deals in fertilizer since 1943 in Florida , another deals in equipment and the last deals in, of all things, diamonds...:roflblack: do know that if I see a thread from caveman it will lively be a link to "wimp" many good ones...

so let's see, a diamond on average drops 50% after purchase & 50% of marriages fail.
glad my wife never wanted me to get her a diamond ring, she just prefers holding her ring finger up to me sometimes to torture me and rather we save the money for something more valuable, our future together.

Diamonds are expensive because only a few companys mine/sell/cut them... i agree a diamond is a expensive purchase that holds little cash value.. jewelry stores mark them up 50 to 100% or more... a diamond is a "fool's purchase" … try selling one only to find out you have been duped..

The Missus likes all sorts of "sparkly rocks"...
Diamond
Sapphire (All colors)
Emerald
Ruby (The red Sapphire)
Tanzanite
Garnet
Morganite

If it can be put in a ring, hung from her ears, or draped around her neck: she's got it!
