• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Demographic of the typical Spyderlovers member

Definitely a solid 4 after retiring twice once my choice the second due to cutbacks. Now working as a Realtor which in this market is the same as not working!

we are a mixture..we think we are young...we worked really hard for 40+ years....we have been married 18 years...before ...interesting enough...we both lived below our means so we could save and retire early...retired in 2008...Mark was 56....me...I'm ...young....traveling this past year...about 14 weeks...put a dent in our disposable cash...Mark needs to go to work...I want a ST

Well were not young nor old not rich or poor still working and love riding our :spyder2: hope to retire some day, 25 years with WDW the Mouse life is good.

It wasn't my butt that needed fixin'! ;):roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

That's too bad... Then you could have said that your troubles are, "all behind you now!" :roflblack::roflblack: :roflblack: :2thumbs:
Seriously though; I hope that a solution to medical issues works!

We're a 2 and living large. Working hard and enjoying our :spyder2:. Got a little place off the Blueridge Parkway finally ready to go now looking for some good riding weather. Have met a couple of Spyder riders up there one day a couple of months ago riding their grandkids around. Now we have ours. Hope to see you guys on the road soon.

Based on the article Doc posted about BRP going public, and the statement that most BRP customers were high wage earners with a sizable discretionary income, I thought I would pose this question. I was once a 3. :D :roflblack:

"What is the demographic of the typical Spyder owner here on Spyderlovers?"

1. Young just starting out, lots of startup debt.
2. Middle aged, decent job, time for toys.
3. Reaching retirement, loaded with lots of pocket change.
4. Retired, comfortable , but not much discretionary income.
5. Old and barely scrapin' by.

Sort of a 2, except the job is only fair. The only reason I was able to get the Spyder is that I had money from the sale of my old house. It's all I can do to afford the maintenance, lol!

demographics....

I'm guessing I'm a four but maintenance and operating costs push that loose change further all the time....:bowdown:smoky
