• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have been looking for 2016 RT Limited new which most dealers near me and on the internet have been between 27,800 - 28,850 with an out the door price. Got a quote for a demo for a 2016 RT-S with Heated Comfort Seat, Comfort Driver, Dongle Kit, Deflector Kit, GPS Kit & GPS Support for just shy of 26000. So basically missing the Chrome and the luggage? Can still get full factory warranty. Kind of thinking this might be a better option than the RT Limited but wanted some of the more knowledgeable owners to chime in on. Thanks.

Make the dealers work with you. I was in a dealership in Texas a few weeks ago and the had three 2016 RT Limited for $23499.

Is the S a demo (per your thread title) or new? If demo, how many miles on it?

I always preferred the S over the Ltd models. I'm not into the chrome and any other extras I wanted could be added. So I think it's a good plan, but I think you could do better on the price.

Yes, Demo 600 miles

And yes, thought I could at the Lighted skid Bumper, the Baha Sway Bar and the safety led package and mostly good to go.

have you driven with the comfort seat yet? You may not like it anyway and end up with another seat.

I would shop around more. There are better deals out there IMO.

Do you plan on using a Dongle?

Well....

It's a budget thing...demos tend to be great machines and we'll cared for so that should not be an issue. Tough choice but that demo seems to have some nice extras...

A demo with 600 miles is not bad. Prices are all over the board depending on who and where. Iowa should be giving a better deal. Its winter and Spyders are probably not moving out the door very fast. The 2016 is also last years model. The 2017's are on the way.

I have never opted for the extra $3K on LTD packages. I like my S model a lot though.

You might want to shop around a bit more before purchasing.

Shopped quite a bit for the new RT Limited to get a good idea, a demo with only 600 is a bit more unique.

The only person that has to be happy with the deal, is you. If you think is a good deal, then go for it.

If your still wanting a Limited and a little better deal, then check out Louis PowerSports in Greenville Texas. They are advertising a new 2016 Can Am Spyder RT Limited on ebay for $24,500.

I bought mine from them in 2014. It was a long distance sale and they were very easy to deal with over the phone; very accommodating. My sales rep was David.

Good Luck
