Demo ride on 2014 RT Limited

So i signed up last week for a demo ryde for today at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Woke up to a nasty cold rainy day...was thinking about not going...but wife said that we should still go! So what the heck....we get out there and she decides she wants to ride on the back....I've been talking about getting one for years....so she has been really been on board with me getting one. Now she gets to see first hand how fun it can be. We got there and watched the 5 minute video got fitted for our helmets and out to the cone course. My wife waited as I went through the course...got the nod to be able to take it out on the road course. There were 3 other ryders...so they let us pick out which Spyders we wanted to ryde. I had my eye on the ST Limited....but some other guy took it. So since I've been reading how good the 2014 RT is...i decided to go with the Cognac Limited...plus it would be more comfortable for my wife...plus it had heated grips...seeing she didn't have gloves. We took off in the cold rain....but I didnt care....a twist of the throttle and it took off....man this machine is smooth...I had demoed a ST last year by myself....now with my wife on the back it did seem to handle different in the turns...great acceleration...i got it up to 55 on the back stretch! What a rush...can't wait to get one...my wife had a blast...and we are looking forward to weekends of fun on the Blue Ridge Parkway....Im taking the motorcycle coarse this coming weekend that my wife signed me up for! So once I have my endorsement it will be time to pick out a Spyder!

Yep, I do see it...in the not to distant future a 2 Spyder family!!! Yep I agree get wife to also take the endorsement course. Never know when she just might need .. :yikes:...
Congrats, if you think that short taste of ryding was :yes:...wait until you go for that 200 mile ride to lunch!!!! Keep us posted....heck you could even mosey on down to Spyderfest and really ramp up the addiction of all things (and people) :spyder2:..

Man...I would really love to go to Spyderfest this year....don't think I will have my Spyder by then....but would love to meet some of you fine folk! I'm on this site every day...a lot of you guys seem like family already!

Well you and wife could drive there in car and see what kind of deal the folks at Pitbull could give you on a 2014 rt. Then you both could take turns driving it home.:clap::hyea:
