I been out there on top of my mtn for the past 3 days but nothing yet. Its a nice change from last year's lousy opener weather, looks like the rest of this week is still ok as well

Thanks Bob. My first try at venison pastrami didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. I took it to a temp I normally would for beef, and it was too dry.

Researching venison jerkey recipes now...

There's no such thing as BAD venison... nojoke
It's just that some of it, might be a bit better than the rest!
I like the Teriyaki flavors for normal consumption.
But if I'm playing with FIRE; there are Carolina Reaper, and Moruga Scorpion rubs available also...
