• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Decel popping and backfiring...love it!

So is there anyone else besides me that actually likes the popping backfires on decel and occasionally between shifts!? :dontknow:

In fact, during decel, once I get below 4k rpms or so....I'll even give it a very slight amount of throttle (1%) to increase the amount of the backfiring! :yes:The Two Brothers dual exhaust really increased the intensity of it which was a win/win for me.


Have heard it on vettes and vipers and the sound is just synonymous to exotic and high-performance to my ears.

We're not alone. There is too much but have been running my set up for 20,000 miles. At about 18,000 replaced the plugs (iridium) and wires (hi-performance) and the plugs were burning spot on. If you go with aftermarket pipes you know this comes with it. But you can go to the expense and trouble to adjust it to not have the popping with o2 sensors and fuel controllers but unless you go with full competion equipment you don't need it and in many cases cause you other issues.. i'm with you..love it..!! :thumbup:
 
I had the hindle exhaust on my 08 and it sounded cool and would also backfire with a nice rumble. It was awesome

got the hindle on my 2012 rss and it too pops and backfires on decel. I think it sounds great. the wife doesn't mind it, but some that ride with us complain! {right ron?}

my yoshi pipe does exactly that. more on a hot day. i'm ok with it, cause when i open it up it ROARS.:thumbup:

I love it too! .. and I didn't spend any money or mods to get it! :D

Of course, it happens that my Y gasket (exh gasket) is leaking. :p
