• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Were planning a ride to death valley, anybody have any ideas to the best route to take around the park? We are coming in from the north, down hwy 395.

Be careful there only a few gas stations in Death Valley. There is gas station at Furnish Creek Ranch which is rather expensive and another one about 25 miles North where the other hotel is. There is no station at Scottys Castle. When coming in from the North I believe you are entering from Scottys Castle. The castle is worth visiting it is very interesting. If staying is desired the tanch is much less expensive than the Inn.

Our Las Vegas group is meeting the group from the Barstow area this Saturday at 10:30 in Shoshone we will go for a joint ride through Death Valley, a stop at Zabriski Point and lunch in Stovepipe Wells before returning back home by way of Beatty.

I hope you can join us.

Thanks all, were leaving next sunday. I've been checking the weather, it looks like it's going to cooperate.
