There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well the rumor was that BRP was going to make a list of dealerships available on their website for download. That has yet to happen, however if you go to their website you can use the "find a dealer" option. Then just zoom the map to Cali and it show you the locations for dealers in Cali.

someone posted on the other not nearly as good as this forum that they had recieved the list via email and it was a 85 page PDF. The email indicated that it would be up on there website for download in next few days. This was posted 1/20/09 i beleive but I dont see it on there website yet.....

For sure, someone wanting to look at dealers through out an entire state to prepare his road trip is not ideal. However, we have the project on working a dealer list for Spyder to be download via spyderryder.com. It should come up within the next month.

Thanks for putting BRP's list into a state by state listing lamonster. I read through the Michigan listing to see my dealership, Nord-Ride Motorsports, and the closer one that I won't give my business to, Great Lakes Powersports. I recognized and have visited a few of the other ones like Ray C's Cycle & Sports (third closest dealership) and C&C Sports.
One word of warning to those who plan on using this info while planning a long trip, the addresses on the lists may be outdated so you might want to verify at least the phone number before having to rely on the dealer list. The one incorrect listing I know of in Michigan is Great Lakes Powersports. They haven't been at that Fenton Road address in Burton for about a year. They moved to a bigger building at G3450 Miller Road in Flint Twp. According to my phone book, their phone number is still the same.
