Sorry that I am venting in this post, but here it comes plus I have a oil change question. First I won't name the Can Am dealer if you lived in the Northern VA area (pm for information). It all started when I installed the bumpskid last weekend, and find out that this dealer installed my Bajaron incorrectly. I fixed the swaybar brackets (they installed one side of the sway bar on the inside of the sway bar and the other side on the outside of the sway bar). I took pics that night and sent them an email to the dealer. The dealer contacted me on Monday, apologized and wanted to make it right and picked up the bike in their trailer to check that the swar bar was not bent. I thought that was good service for their mistake. They called me on Tuesday after checking the bike and told me the sway bar is fine. They asked me if I wanted the 6k service completed, I thought now that I have 5600 miles why not do my 6k service maintenance. They called me on Tuesday and told me that they could not finish the service because they did not have an oil filter and they getting one via Fed Ex. I dont understand a large dealer dont have basic parts.
Now here is my question, I have a new oil/oil filter kit and I will drive to them and bring my kit. The kit comes with everything they need but it comes with an additional 4 quart 1 quart. Should i keep the 1 quart? Do they will need more than the 4 quarts? I know if they dont need the 1 quart they will keep it. Please let me know soon about the 1 quart oil. This will be the last time I take it to this dealer. Thanks and sorry for the long post.
