• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

But... the question raised.... IS IT REALITY. Or a ratings grab? I don't know. I would hope he wouldn't stoop that low. Article states he resumed running the boat after regaining consciousness, but was taken to the hospital.

Wishing him the best. I don't follow the program any more. Like Gold Rush, they like to make the drama. Not saying that the heart attack was faked, but they are using it to promote the show a bit.

Just watched the History of the Northwestern the other day. Hope he rethinks his habits and maybe a seat on the sidelines. Still love watching DC. Maybe its time for Edgar to take a permanent seat in the captains chair.
 
The non-stop smoking on the show, has always bothered me a little bit... :shocked:
They've all got to make their own choices. :dontknow: He's got a beautiful family and lots of money, so I hope that he chooses to stick around for another 35 years or so...

I met Captain Phil and his son at a local bar one day when I was out for a ride (on a Harley). They were real nice guys and I have hear that when Phil was buried he had his Harley gas tanks buried with him.
