• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

DC Cigarrette/USB Plug

AMPERAGE DRAW

Cool, but do I need any kind of special harness or I go straight to the battery?[/QUOTE
If you are ever going to use it as a cigarette lighter I would suggest a separate in line 15 amp fuse to the Battery......If it's just an I-Pod or MP-3 or something with low Draw you can piggy-back onto a Hot wire .....because they are all fused ......Probably the best way is add a small extra fuse box or strip and use that............this way if you do any other add-on's down the road you will already have a safe device to tap into...........Mike

The cig plug I bought at Radio Shack (now out of buisiness) came with the wires and an inline 15 amp fuse.
So try to buy one that comes that way to asve hassle. Also make sure it has a rubber cap to help keep water out of it.
