Daytona 2011- March 7th

Today was a great day, we had non stop folks showing up for demo rides and I pretty much spent the day talking with folks about both the RT and the RS. Seems like a lot of folks would test ride the RS first and then test the RT. It was great to be able to give real world advice on both rides. For the most part the group we had coming through were mostly interested in the RT. I love to watch peoples faces when I explain all the integrated features of the RT and then tell them the price, it truly is a bargain.

As some of the SpyderLover members started showing up I would take their pics. Here's here's a few of them.

For some reason this guy didn't want his picture taken. I heard him say something about meeting "Doc" at the dounut shop.

I took this pic of SpyderLover member "mouthpiece" rear tire. It is the stock tire and he has over 14K on it and it's just now getting into the wear bars. That's better than any tire I've had and really good for an RT.

I thought this was a great pic of Todd and the first time riders getting their walkthrough on the Spyder.

Here's a pic of two guys that say they are Doc and Forest but they may be imposters.

I finshed out the day with dinner at Five Guys Burgers in Daytona and that was pretty good. Ready to do it all over again today.

Thanks for the pics Lamont. We would love to join you but since our spyder has been in the shop since 01/03, (seems that BRP doesn't make a 2010 ECM anymore, and the 2011 ECM they keep trying in it is not compatible) I just don't feel right about coming over there in our car and scaring off some of their potential sales. Maybe we'll try on Saturday and see if we can get a demo ryde on one of theirs to see what it's like to ryde a Spyder this year. Really disappointed in not being able to ryde the track though.
Be careful hanging out with those two characters, Doc and Forrest; there's a strong rumor that they are Huligans !! Stay safe ryding.....
