The day started off with plenty of rain so there was no reason to hurry over to the BRP tent. When I did get there Fred was there talking to folks and ribbing me for not being there first thing in the morning. The crowd was down because of the weather but there was some foot traffic. I had a couple of babes ask if they could sit on my bike and how could I say no with a smile like these?
Here's Fred chatting with a few SpyderLovers.
I thought this was a great picture of Fred's RT and mine, one bone stock and the other tricked out a bit. I can tell you the blinged out RT has been well received by all.
The day when by pretty quick seeing it was really only half a day for me so Fred and I headed down to Port Orange Steak House and Fred and I both had the prime rib sandwich. This is the best 10 dollar sandwich you'll ever have.
After dinner Fred headed back to his hotel and I headed over to the Hess station for fuel. If you guys don't know it this is where all the really cool sportbike guys and gals hangout. These guys are hardcore riders and are very passionate about their rides. I was welcomed with open arms when I parked and it didn't take long before we started swapping stories with each other. It's cool to see that now that I have the RT tricked out a bit it was excepted and liked by these guys. I told them about the miles I had on it and the up and coming Guts and Glory ride and they were all pretty impressed that someone would ride that far in that short of time. The guys were cool and I plan on going back at least once before I leave on Sunday. Here's a few of the bikes.
