• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Day twentynine how time flys when your'e having fun. Got the wives to the airport in Bellingham and all checked in for the flight back to Denver. Had to wait a little while for the driver to come back for us so we could check out of the hotel; miscommunication on our part but he finally got there and we got checked out. Bellingham was a little cool this morning so we dressed for it and hit the road (Interstate 5) headed for Seatle, we then got on Interstate 405 heading east until we connected with Interstate 90 still heading east, by the time we got to Renton we had to shed all the jackets and get down to T-shirt riding the temperatures soaring to the 100 deg mark. Continued on 90 until we intersected with Interstate 82 then headed south until we got to Interstate 84 which we took into Pendleton, Oregon. Got brave and on the long highway strecthes shifted into 5th and everything seemed to work, will definitely have to have the shift points reset since they are really squirlly. Even though we got a late start we still got in about 400 miles and found out once again that travelling in the heat sure does take it out of you. Got to see (from a distance) some of the wild fires going on in Washington and saw some areas that had recently been burned ,so sad. Well its off to get a bite to eat and than rest up for tomorrows travels, will try to get an early start to avoid some of the heat on the eastern slopes of Oregon. STILL HAVE NOT SEEN ANOTHER SPYDER SINCE WE LEFT THE STATES WHEN WE MET A LOCAL AT THE GAS STATION IN FORT ST JOHN(RUSS SAYS HE SAW A SILVER ONE AROUND YAKIMA TODAY BUT IT WAS ACROSS THE HIGHWAY AND I DIDN'T SEE IT). EITHER THERES NONE OUT HERE OR PEOPLE ARE NOT RIDING THEM.Maybe we'll see some around Bosie tomorrow.

Another Spyder Sighted

Wouldn't you know it right after I posted the above we pull up at the reasturant an in comes another Spyder. Seems that Gold Wing was having a regional rally and he (George) was attending with his Spyder. I guess they are out there.

Have a safe journey on your way home, Dick! We've enjoyed keeping up with you through your travel journal on here. Ed finally made it home yesterday. Thanks, again, for all your help in Cheyenne.
