• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Checked out of the Chilkoot River Lodge and headed for Haines downtown area for a little sightseeing and maybe a little shopping, We told the wives that if they couldn't carry it on their person they couldn't get it; needless to say I had to come up with more space in the trailer to hold the various purchases. Arrived at the Ferry terminal about 4pm and kinda waited for them to start loading about 6:30 pm. Very interesting on how they brought vehicles on board, since I had a trailler I got to go on very quickly where as Russ had to wait until they could find a spot for his Wing. Got underway about 8:40 pm bikes all tied down and all the suitcases etc. hauled up to our cabin. Then I found out the Ferry had no internet and even the cell phones had trouble getting out (no 3G or 4G service available. The start of another adventure.

The good part, you won't have to worry about bad roads for awhile. Glad to hear back from you folks, was wondering if anything happened.
