Left Tok after a great breakfast at Fast Eddys, introduced our wives to the giant cinnamon buns, they are still great. The road was marked with great Potholes, loose gravel and rough surfaces but we made it to Beaver Creek. Still holding to the plan of cruising with max gear of 4th, no reoccurances of check engine light today; another problem has surfaced though and that's when I use the brake if I'm not careful the brake light does not go off; so the computer is getting a signal of brake in use all the time. I have found that if I hook the brake pedal with my toe I can get it to go off so that has become part of my routine. 287 miles to Haines and the Ferry. Attended a dinner theater in Beaver Creek at the Westmark hotel, the dinner was great and the show was fantastic; Russ and I made a lot of points with the wives for that call. Can't believe how many tour groups that are bused around up here, we have found that if you don't make advanced reservations you're not going to have a place to stay so when you plan a visit up here make reservations, be prepared. Easy day today so no one had a chance to "snivel", Darn! Tomorrow will be a short travel day since we had to change our stay date in Haines Junction and they were booked so we are now only going as far a Destruction bay, towns population is 45 so the place will really be jumpin, right! Scenry still awesome even the second time around, the wilderness becomes a part of you the longer you stay up here. Take care and ride safe.
