• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

has anybody ever installed these on a rs 2013. they say to unplug the plug for the fender
tip lights near the top a arm mounting point . WRONG there is not a plug there for them
the only place you can get the power is from the plugs for the tips at the outer end of the top
a arms. then the harness is to short along with the wires from the lights them selves.

It was close to the wheel on my '14 sorry I can't help you with the '13. It was a great day for ryding today, maybe you will get someone with a '13 to chime in later or tomorrow.

The connector is near the outboard end of the upper a arm. You may need to extend the wires depending on where you desire to mount the lights.

Its not the first case of Custom Dynamics lights that are supposed to be 'plug n play' that are not.

thanks, that is the only plug I found to get the power from.
I will just extend the main whip to reach the center of the bike then the
far side light will reach also.
I must say that this is a bunch of crap to have
cut this up to make it fit.
I got all this stuff for Christmas to put on my spyder and some fits and some doesn't .
I had to send the strobe controller back because it was wired wrong . the lights went right
to brake no running lights.

Yep, been there and done that. Figured out the correct wiring and sent it to CD who promptly told me my 2013 was wired wrong from the factory. Yep, so was my wifes and 3 others I helped with their non-functional plug n play harness. They seem to have no interest in actually building quality well designed products for the spyders. I will only buy from CD what I cannot get elsewhere and plan on re-engineering any installation instructions.
