• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We have been using the day long saddle for 3 months now and love it, no tail bone pressure, great back support, you feel like a part of the bike in a turn rather than rolling around on a ball with the original seat:2thumbs:

Wow that does look comfy and a good looker as well. Most daylongs are butt ugly but do what they say they do. That one is really nice looking!

How much???

I went with Corbin

I also went with the Corbin, but think the Russell looks nice and was going to get a Russell. When I got a quote for the Russell I believe it was well over $1,000.

To each his own for sure- but I find the stock seat to be the best I ever rode on, and I've been on quite a few.

Brian and I have had our Russell's for over a year and could not have done nearly the riding we have done without them. We bought during their bulk order time in the fall and received a nice discount. I think with shipping we only paid a little over $600 each. Here are the links to our saddles. We each got a slightly different one.

If it were not for Dltang and Brian letting my wife and myself try their seats at Lamonte's picnic we would not have bought one, thank you both very much. We were unable to get the group discount as they had already filled the limit, we paid $1100. We got the Dual(the front and the back both done),the heavy duty suspension for the rear(small leaf springs molded into the foam for more support), the fully adjustable backrest, leather inserts in the seats and the backrest, half moon pattern.I have a terrible back and it is really worth the money, would be even better if you got the discount. I told my wife that if I had sent them a butt print, they could not have made the seat fit better.:2thumbs:

So very glad we could be of assistance...LOL Mostly glad you got a good seat and it works for you. I know both Brian and I are very happy with ours. So sorry to hear you weren't able to get into the group buy though.

We also have the corbin seats. I ordered as soon as they placed them on their site. Our seat was one of the first made, it doesn't have the spyder on the side just the corbin logo. The 2-up Russell seat appears to be alot more comfortable for the passenger. The corbin rear seat slopes to the front and the leather is slippery making for easy sliding during heavy braking. The only thing missing on the day-long seat would be matching backrest front & back.
