• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dashcam for Spyder?

I'm rather new to the spyder world as I've just picked up my F3 Ltd., so please accept my apology for any ignorance...

My car is equipped with two dashcams, front and back, which continuously record in a loop.
I'm looking for the same option for the spyder, but with a secure mount so that can't be stolen (easily).

Can anyone recommend either a single direction or dual direction kit?
There's a lot of bad drivers out there and video is priceless when an accident occurs.

Much appreciated.

EdMat -- did you do the install yourself? Any chance you could post a picture of where you mounted it (front and back)? I looked at the system and like what they've done with the setup, but don't know the first thing about the install process. Thanks.
Used the 90 degree mount it came with on the rear. Made a custom mount for the front. Mounted the unit under the seaat.

The only suggestion I can throw in is check the footage from a few. If you cant make out the Number/License plate in the footage look for one that does. I've seen the Innov and it appears to be clear enough for most situations.

I have an hp f310 mounted under my left mirror with power coming from frunk dc outlet. I also use the same dashcam in all my vehicles and have never had any issues or failures. It also records speed and gps location.
