• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cutting out....

Just the last couple days I been noticing that when I shift into first and let go of the cluth it feels as though it wants to stall. (I give plenty of throttle). I thought maybe it would be with the fuel filter but I have only 300 miles. Any ideas ????

I noticed that when the engine is not fully warmed up, I get a stall from the injection system....which should never, ever happen. I have had the bike serviced a couple of times and the service dept. cannot re-create the problem (no problem, no fix). SO, it is important to get it documented for future work or if a recall comes by. Watch to see if it happens more often than not, during the early part of your ride.

What is your RPMs when you are dropping into 1st gear?

How fast are you going?

Are you dropping from 2nd into first--- or from a higher gear right in to 1st?

Does your problem happen all the time or only when the engine is cold? A few of these replies refer to the cold running behavior of the engine. Mine runs rough for the first few minutes when I just fire it up and take off also. If it happens all the time, when 1 or more bars are showing on the temp gauge, then there is another problem.

Yeah has to be a cold problem.... After 50 miles of hard riding no problem at all... and no brake squeek either ::)

50 miles? I might talk to the service department about that. Mine straightens up within a mile or two with temps down in the 40s.
