• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Custom made ear buds for your tunes

Has anyone tried or have a pair? They seem like a good logical choice for long ride and won't hurt the Ear canal to much after a couple of hours of riding. Also if you do own some, is the sound as good as the web site claims?

Hey Rich,
I had some made up a few years back and just could not get comfortable with the fit. Sound is fantastic though.
From what I understand you have to wear them quite a bit to get used to them. It just didn't work for me.

Don't know..!!

myself but have ryden with some that swear by them. Some helmets are pretty noisy with the wind and these help with that as well....:thumbup:

MAYBE THESE WOULD BE BETTER

Rich , I have heard some pretty good things about " IN HELMET " speakers. They can make some really good ones now , they are wafer thin. I can't find my link but I'm sure someone here will chime in on this for me /you..........Mike :thumbup:......................I was seriously thinking of going this route with my 2011 RSS but that's History now , because of the new RT ...............Good Luck ....

S-plug

I found the Splug earplug ear buds a few years ago. After trying lots of alternatives I found these. They are by far the most comfortable ear plugs I ever worn. On the way back from the owner's meeting we did a 785 mile day and a 750 miler. No issues & really good sound. I have the 22" pair as I plug them into my bluetooth headset and I don't want a lot of extra chord flopping around. They have a 30 day trial so what do you have to lose?

I purchased Torx Pro helmet speakers along with their booster.
They are awesome. If you want they will blow your ears off. uU need to get the speakers close to your ears.

Love em:yes::thumbup::ohyea:

Comfort is not the issue, Is illegal any vehicle. Intercom speakers are permitted some states, do yourself favor check all laws

Take a look at www.earinc.com I have had them make several sets of ear plugs for me......both wired and not. They work and fit great. You go to your local audiologist, and have them make the molds. Then send them to Ear Inc. and they will make anything you want. A question that was asked........are you still aware and hear traffic around you when wearing the wired plugs.....yes. I guess it depends on how loud you have them turned up.
