custom dynamics LED fender bulbs

I replaced the front fender bulbs with these LED fender lights. CLICK.


Problem is, the bulbs don't mount to point straight forward and LED's are very directional. The new LED's are very bright at a steep up angle
but from the front 20 feet away you can't hardly see them. My wife and I went for a ride, her on the Spyder and me on my bike and I could see the fender lights very bright at stop lights when she was right behind me but as we would pull away it didn't look like they were on at all because of the steep angle that they point up. I put the OEM bulbs back in and those I can see. Seems I threw away my money.

Have you explained the problem to CD and asked for solution? I am very pleased with my brake modulator system from them but called and complained about how poor their installation instructions were.

I'm doing that now, the bulbs are extremely bright but very directional.
