• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I did pay for the return shipping and had no problem doing that... and I agree, given the size of my order some 'flexibility' on their part would have been nice, but since they are going to be so anal retentive about it, I will never buy from them again

You did it just right. I think it is good that you notified them that you would not buy again from them and why. Many buyers do not. If they get enough of those types of responses maybe they will change their ways. It pays to be flexible. Bad publicity due to an unhappy customer goes a long way these days. Hopefully they will not have any one of a kind items that you cannot get elsewhere.
 
I am sorry but I believe they should be more flexible and take the size of the order in consideration. It is easy today to hit the wrong button and double order something.

^^^^^^^^^^^ I have done this by adding to a cart,then leaving the site,going back in and clicking on the item again to order,and see "quantity 2"....Honest mistake..

and no, there is nothing they currently sell that I can't purchase some place else

I kept the rest of my original order, just returned the one item I double ordered by accident

there are a couple of items I was going to order from CD but after walking around Bikeweek yesterday have found other companies that make similar items to what I was going to purchase from CD but will now be purchasing from other companies (Like TwistedThrottle.com for bullet lights, etc), and waiting go see some new items Reggy has at Tricled)
