I just came from E-Bay and saw 3 or so 2010 RT's for sale from different dealers at what I considered to be discounted prices as low as $16,000. These were all brand new, zero mileage and warranty available. I thought I understood that Can Am had their wrench down pretty tight on any possible discounts, at least that's what the dealer closest to me told me. He said that the price is the price and they couldn't discount under fear that they'd lose their dealership. Who should I believe.
Also, I want to wait till the 2011's have been out for a little while to make sure that Can Am has taken care of most of the 2010's problems. I'd surely like to hear from all of the RT riders about any problems or (hopefully) ray: lack of problems. Thanks to all for your insight and patience.

The lowest "buy-it-now" price I saw on ebay was $17,999 for a base RT. That's still a pretty good price but it's not $16,000. I saw a RTS which had $16,100 bid on it but the reserve had not been met at that price.

I just turned over 10,000 miles on my 2010 base RT with no problems except having two side panels blow off. Both were replaced at no cost to me. No mechanical problems whatsoever.

I apologize, Bike Guy, you were right and I miss read, but you have to admit, they're still pretty cheap and off of what I thought the regular dealer price was. I don't mean to cause a fuss, again, I was just curious. My thick head needed to be cleared up. Thanks for grounding me. I still would like to hear from the rest of you RT riders though. It'd mean a lot. :chat: Thanks again Bike Guy and any other possible contributers.

here is what i have had replaced on my rts.Paint peeling on can am mouldings and were replaced fuel guage for fluctuation,rear shock,oil sender unit,dps,and I also replaced rear tire the longest I was without was one week and only because went into limp mode on sat of long weekend.I have 17000 kilometers on :spyder2:now and am completely happy with it.It uses no oil at all and runs better all the time.Am happy with my dealer Enns in portage, have not had to take :spyder2:back after repairs were done.Changed oil yesterday and put it away for the winter:gaah::gaah:

Yep, Farmerjim, I would agree that those prices are pretty good. About $3,000 off of the list price that I agreed on for a base RT when I ordered one in December of 2009. No fuss at all, in my opinion that's a good price and well worth the money. I forgot to mention that I changed the rear tire on mine at 9,050 miles. That was less mileage than I was hoping for but better than I ever got on my R1100RT BMW. I also had the DPS recall done on mine but I was having no trouble with the original. I'm glad I had it done, though, as it steers even better now.

I'm not sure that words can express how pleased I've been with my RT-S. Mine was $28,000.00 loaded and out the door. I'd jump on that deal like ....like........white on rice. (kept it clean) :clap:

Haven't had much bother with my '10 RTS. All the programs were taken care of. I do have the paint coming off the chrome Can Am insignia. The gas gauge has yet to be replaced. The after ride fuel smell has all but stopped. The oil was way overserviced when I got the :spyder2: but the dealer took care of that. I do plan on looking into the peg vibration as soon as I have time to take the tupperware off and really give Spydee a good look over. Oh, I think the fuel milage needs improving. Overall, I'm satisfied with my :spyder2:

I found 3 RTs (Not the RTS) with Audio at my local dealer, one was SE5 and the other 2 were SM5. The would take 2 grand off MSRP... for the SE5 is was $24,500 out the door...23 for the SM5...but I did not get a chance to haggle...:gaah:. I test drove the SE5 for a few hours and fell in love with it (my wife did too by her suprise) :2thumbs:. It was night and day compared to my 08 GS. I am saving my money to buy one...I may buy a good used one as there are several listed here for sale...

I did ride my buddy's Tri-glide the over day, and it is definately the catillac of 3 wheelers, but the out the door price on one of those is over 10 grand more. The tri-glide comes with problems too...this one has spent most of its time in the shop for issues...opcorn:
