There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. cup holder

Good Evening. Has anyone ever come up with a cup holder that mounts to the dash or Tupperware or wherever besides the handlebars. When on the handlebar it slants when the bars are turned and if it is full it spills. I've had a swivel cup holder on other bikes and it swiveled too much and spilled the drink. Thanks, Mike

The diamond r cup holder does mount to handlebars but I have never had it spill like it did with other types I tried.

I've heard it said not to drink and drive, but..................

I think a solution would be an adult "Tommy tippy cup." I have one on my spyder that's been on two other bikes prior to the spyder. It has many battle scars to prove its worth. On a cold day it will keep coffee warm/hot for 4 hours. Same with cold drinks on hot days, 4 hours. It's a Contigo brand mug, and I've had the AUTOSEAL west Loop 16 oz. model now for 5+ years. I'm surprised in all this time someone hasn't stolen it off my bike. But, if they do I've have a backup in the cupboard at home.

Did you just skip the vendors page or not "shop" accurately? http://www.lamonstergarage.com/fully-adjustable-cup-holder/:roflblack::thumbup:

personally I prefer large cups & best way to carry them is in the frunkimage.jpg fyi standard truck seat ajustable cupholder velcroed down to liner & I can carry the large 64oz movie cups. Granted I need to stop to drink. But keeps me mindful to stretch & whatever else needs done(sun block), more often. Ive recently upgraded to a pair of 32oz yetti tumblers & works great for me. image.jpgFyi size comparison for ya. & yes the yetti's keep cool ALL day :)

I am a newbie. On all of my regular bikes I put a 3 liter Camelback into a tank bag for long trips. I will have to go to a plan B here. If I give up access to the glovebox, I may still be able to mount a bag but it will require suction cups. Let me know if any of you have used a tank bag on a 1330 RT

With a little thought, it's not too hard to put a tank bag on an RT! But if you want to carry a drink cup in there, you might not want to fill it with something like this:

I have a RAM swivel cup on my bars and had the same issue with it tipping. I stuck a couple stick on wheel weights on the bottom of the cup holder and that fixed the problem for me.

I have tried several as well. The best I have found so far is the spydercuff with the ram mount swivel cup holder from lamonster. The only problem I have found with it, is anything tall will flop left and right, it's topheavy....I have used a yeti coozie for cans, but it doesn't keep it super cool. Now I have a 20 once tumbler with a thin coozie and it works pretty good. I would love the 32 once yeti though....I may try the wheel weights that might just do the trick...

I used lamonts spyder cuff and cup holder. Then went to Menards and bought a stainless steel cup with the straw and works fine even when handlebars are turned.

I like the Lamonster Ram Mount self leveling Since it mounts near the center it would not tip as much but it covers the switches I think.
