There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Cuba and Spyderfest.

From my understanding, last year the spot HQ was Wagon Wheel, but there is only a limited number of rooms. From the poll, most of us will be staying in the Motel 6 and the Super 8 is picking up.

Actually,the Wagon Wheel was not open last year. The main hotel was the Motel 6 (known at the time as Holiday Inn Express). There is not one hotel big enough in Cuba to accommodate every SpyderLover so they are all considered official host hotels. The whole town of Cuba is a wonderful host. They are planning the bon fire at the Wagon Wheel though. So regardless of where you stay, you will be surrounded by many other SpyderLovers.

Man I love spyderlovers! You guys are awesome! Ask and you shall recieve on here. Doc I know bestwestern still has rooms open. All the hotels are insite of each other. Only seperated by about 1000 feet or so, excepted the huligans hide out the wagon wheel! Danger place there you know it by the flag proudly flying high above! Also home to the Thursday night chilli cook off sponsered by the mogang, complete with a band and Spyder games, and no worries we will have other food there aswell! Good times!

Some one on another thread said they had given up their room at Motel 6 - it might still be open. Be sure to mention SPyderfest wherever you book as most are honoring a special rate for the event.
