• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Self Fixes

You got to ask yourself with all the "fixes" that the owners are doing. How will BRP respond to warranty issues?? Will BRP blame the problems on the owners fixes and refuse to warranty them??:dontknow: My tech did mention, off the cuff, he wondered if BRP would honor the warranty with after market fixes.:helpsmilie:

That is why I will not do any after market "Heat" fixes and the $$$$ to do it. It is BRP's responsibly to fix the problems.nojoke

Just my 2 cents worth.

Definately something to consider.

Not on a Spyder yet

I am not trolling or lurking here for any negative reasons, but I find the comments from current owners to be helpful to me in making an intelligent informed decision regarding any potential future purchase of a Can AM Spyder. Some of what I observe here is for the most part is what happens with newly released models or technology in a motor vehicle of any kind. Some, on the other hand, are things that should have been caught at the factory or maybe redesigned after extensive testing before released to the consumer. BRP isn't the only manufacturer who gets into problems like this. Sometimes the pressure from upper management, stockholders, competition or whatever leads companies to rush things. For that reason I generally try to avoid buying a first year of a new model, whether it's a car, truck, or motorcycle.
